  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

How to Make

  1. Prep Your Oven: Start by preheating your  oven to 350°F
  2. . Greasing an 8×8 inch baking pan with oil or lining it with parchment paper will help with easy removal.
  3. Mix Ingredients: In a medium bowl whisk together the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. Then add the eggs, oil, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Add Chocolate Chips: If you love chocolate, fold in the chocolate chips at this stage for extra richness.
  1. Bake: Pour the mixture into your prepared pan. bake for 25 minutes or until the top looks set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Cool and Slice: Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Perfecting the Texture

The key to great brownies is balancing the moistness and chewiness. Overbaking can lead to dryness, so keep an eye on them. If you prefer fudgy brownies, aim for slightly underbaked center, as they will continue to cook while cooling.
