Mrs. Berry’s Sweet Potato Casserole

This recipe is one of my moms old time favorites. It was enjoyed by a few villagers in Niagara this year! Try it out I think you might like it. Rumor has it that Ginas Walt Moans while he’s eating it! LOL It goes great with Turkey.

3 Large (2-3 lbs.) sweet Potatoes cooked and mashed

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup white sugar

1/3 cup Butter Melted

2 Beaten Eggs

1 Tsp. Vanilla

Topping

2/3 Cup Brown Sugar

1/3 Cup Flour

2 Tbs. Cold Butter

2/3 Cup Chopped Pecans

2/3 cup flaked coconut

Combine the first 6 ingredients and place in a greased 1 1/2 Qt. baking dish.

Combine Sugar and Flour and then cut in the butter until its crumbly. Add Nuts and coconut and sprinkle over potatoe mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 min
