Chips ~N~ salsa
dessert called Buenellos ( Boon well ous)
(Buenellos: Cinnamon & Sugar)
Cut several tortillas into triangle size pieces. In a deep skillet filled half full of oil, heat til a drop of a tortillas sizzles.
Add a dozen triangles and fry quickly til light golden on each side. ( dont blink) (they stop sizzling) Drain on paper towels and salt to taste. Let cool, serve with lots of different appetizers.
** If you are making tostadas… leave whole, fry and flip and fry again.
** For Flautas, roll cooked, shredded meat in a tortilla tightly, fry quickly, remove drain, and slice in half. Serve with any chili sauces that you like. (I like red chili, chili colorado)
** If you are making Buenellos, no salt.. sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, serve warm.
